In The Army Four More Areas Can Be Given Permanent Commission To Women Officers

In the army, four more areas can be given permanent commission to women officers. Preparations for this are being started by the army. These areas are Cyber, Mapping, Signal and Language. Most women will not have to leave their careers in the middle when they get permanent commission from women in these areas.

In the army, there is a permanent commission for women in areas related to education and judicial services. But the complaints of female officers recruited through the Short Service Commission (SSC) are that they have to sit home after completing 14 years of service. Only few women officers who are recruited through this service can get permanent commission. Because there are just opportunities for them in just two areas.
